SO GREEN, IT’S SAFE ENOUGH TO DRINK
One of the most important innovations to be incorporated into the unique carpet cleaning process is the use of powered water. ZeroRez uses special alkaline, electrolyzed, oxidized water. While this water has been transformed to provide a better cleaning experience, it is, in fact, still water. There are no chemical additives, which is why ZeroRez can claim that its cleaner is “so green, it’s safe enough to drink!”
Many carpet cleaning services rely on soaps and detergents that leave sticky residue behind or create crunchy carpets. Quick resoiling is often the result and the ZeroRez cleaning system solves these problems. Best of all, ZeroRez’s cleaning solution has been scientifically proven to remove more dirt from carpets than traditional chemical or steam cleaning methods. With no residue left behind to attract more dirt, your carpet will stay cleaner longer.
The ZeroRez cleaning system works on more than just carpet. It is also particularly well-suited to clean and sanitize upholstery, area rugs, tile and grout as well as natural stone floors.
If you’re looking for carpet cleaning from a local expert, contact Eric and his team at ZeroRez for a free, no-obligation quote. As Eric says, “You’ll love the difference that ZeroRez makes—we guarantee it!”

Founded in 2001, Triton Air was born from humble beginnings in the Nicolai’s home. The company has since moved into its current facility, which serves as an office and warehouse. In 2006, as the company grew, it expanded into both neighboring suites. Due to the lockdowns this past March and April, business slowed, and Mike was placed in the regrettable position of needing to lay off some of his employees. As he shared the unfortunate news with his staff, he said, “I look forward to the day when I can see you walk through these doors again, look you in the eye, shake your hand, and welcome you back.” Fortunately, it didn’t take long for them to return.
In May, area families focused on home Improvements, almost in unison, and business skyrocketed. “It completely flipped!” Mike recalls. “It was like going from 0 to 100 miles per hour overnight.” Needless to say, Triton rehired its team, and the company’s business soared. “It was such a meaningful time,” he says “and such an emotional time. To share some positivity was truly rewarding.”
Mike says that Triton’s most requested services are regular maintenance on heating and air systems, but when COVID-19 was determined to be airborne, the focus quickly shifted to air filtration. Many families are now upgrading their systems in an effort to prevent virus spread, and to provide added peace of mind. The MERV-16 mechanical filtration system, which Mike likens to an “N95 mask for your home,” utilizes UVC light technology to prevent virus, bacteria, and even mold reproduction. Another popular option is a photocatalytic air filtration system, which emulates the air quality on the beach. “These indoor climate technologies are also effective in combating smoke from nearby wildfires,” Mike says.
Even with thousands of satisfied customers around the county, Triton Air is perhaps best known for its charitable contributions. “Our vision,” Mike says, “is to positively impact people. We ask our team to look out for one another and support one another. Together we go out to help support our community.”
You can support this local, family business by hiring Triton Air to maintain your current HVAC system or to upgrade your existing system. A quick call to San Clemente’s Triton Air is one you can feel good about making.

When TRITON AIR isn’t busy installing or repairing a heating, air conditioning or water heating system for one of its clients, the company finds ways to give back to South Orange County. During the devastating COVID-19 shutdowns, Triton Air learned that even the biggest challenges offered plenty of room for growth. Founders Kim and Mike Nicolai are pillars of the San Clemente family-owned and small business network, and they’re leading the charge to improve the lives of local residents. “We have a guiding principle,” Mike says, “to be a community for our community.”
Founded in 2001, Triton Air was started from humble beginnings in the Nicolai’s home. The company has since moved into its current facility, which serves as an office and warehouse. You may see Triton Air’s purple van driving around town. A percentage of sales from that vehicle go to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in memory of one of their team members. COVID brought out the best in Triton Air. Their team volunteered to deliver groceries to high-risk people and those aged 65 and older. Other ways the Triton team has served the community is through free installations of systems, including air conditioning for persons with certain neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis (MS). Excessive heat exacerbates their symptoms and AC makes a huge difference in their quality of life. Triton also provided free installation on a walk-in cooler for Family Assistance Ministries so FAM could store and distribute more food to those in need.
The cause nearest to the Nicolai’s hearts is an organization in Malawi that provides medical support and transportation for expecting mothers and other medical emergencies. It’s a group they met through their church. Mike and Kim are hopeful that they can travel to the African country in July 2021 to see the ambulance they helped finance.
You can support these causes and a local family business by hiring Triton Air to maintain your current HVAC system or to upgrade your existing system. A quick call to San Clemente’s Triton Air is one you can feel good about making.
EXPLORE YOUR GIFTS. DISCOVER YOUR PASSION. ENVISION YOUR FUTURE.
Let’s face it, this year has been anything but normal. Although this school year looks different than others, if you could walk onto St. Anne’s campus in Laguna Niguel, you would likely hear students practicing musical instruments or singing at weekly Mass being livestreamed into their classrooms. You might witness eighth-grade students sitting outside, engrossed in their laptops designing their own websites in their Navigating Our World class, second-graders discovering their ancestry by dressing in period costume for Ellis Island Day, or preschool students exploring together in their outdoor classroom. In previous years, you might see a bus in the parking lot loading up fifth-grade students for a field studies trip to Astro Camp, but this year you might see parents filling their cars with donated supplies for a campus ministry project.
This year, St. Anne School has reimagined how it provides students with a learning experience that continues to offer opportunities for exploration and discovery. With strict safety protocols in place, the school has offered in-person instruction since late August, with an online option, Knights Live!, for students who feel more comfortable learning from home.
The devoted teachers at St. Anne are trained in differentiated instruction, using strategies that stimulate deeper thinking and discussion with students. Additionally, a dedicated student support team ensures the educational and emotional needs of each student are met. Rigorous core academics are enriched by a variety of elective classes. Next school year, St. Anne students can continue discovering their passions through the resumption of after-school programs such as an award-winning show choir, after-school sports, instrumental music classes, a robust performing arts program, Chess, and Future Problem Solvers.
Whether educating students online or in-person, St. Anne School provides an education where students can explore their gifts, discover their passions, and envision their future.

The Foundations program methodology is to move past the traditional concept of simply managing the symptoms of learning disabilities and, instead, address the root cause of these challenges. Based on the concept of neuroplasticity (the brain’s ability to change, heal, and grow in response to targeted training), each day, students perform cognitive exercises that have been scientifically proven to strengthen weak cognitive capabilities. In other words, the goal of Foundations is to transform the brain, establishing capabilities that did not exist and, thus, begin to instill a newfound confidence and a love of learning. By strengthening cognitive capacities, students are able to work through tasks which were once incredibly challenging for them. In addition to its scientific approach to cognitive improvement, Foundations includes state-certified reading and mathematics programs. When combined with the cognitive exercises, these programs have helped many students achieve dramatic improvement in reading, writing, and math.
INDIVIDUALIZED PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES INCLUSION IN SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
For the 2021-2022 school year, Foundations will have two multi-grade Elementary classes, one Junior High class, and one High School class. Each classroom will have a student-teacher ratio of 4:1. Each student is assessed and works at a pace and level that is appropriate for his or her particular needs. In order to ensure that students are connected socially to others in their peer group, Foundations is located on the campus of a large private school, which allows students to attend recess, lunch, and enrichment/elective classes (P.E., art, music, etc.) with mainstream students in their grade. They also have the opportunity to play on sports teams and to participate in extra-curricular school activities offered at the partner school, such as choir, dance, cheer, clubs, etc. High School students are offered the option to pursue a High School Diploma, or to participate in a Certificate of Completion program.
OUR PARTNER SCHOOL
Foundations is located on the San Juan Capistrano campus of the prestigious Fairmont Schools. The beautiful campus, spanning 66,000 square feet, includes two educational wings full of classroom space, playgrounds, gymnasium, a music room, science labs, and more.

Throughout the day, OSLS teachers guide student learning individually and in groups to explain, educate, and empower the children, encouraging them to ask questions and explore their learning environment. They understand that every child develops at their own pace while being committed to continuous growth and excellence in all levels of early childhood education. With a long-term education in mind, OSLS’s most important goal is to foster and encourage a love of learning.
Infants, 3 to 24 months, are cared for by highly trained staff. They enjoy their own grassy space with a shade tree and ocean breeze. The teachers take them for walks around the campus in our four-seat strollers.
