San Clemente’s Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens will transform into a tropical paradise for its signature fundraising gala, Toast to the Casa: An Evening in Paradise, on Saturday, September 19, from 5 to 9:30 p.m. The event marks an exciting year ahead as Casa Romantica prepares to celebrate the centennial of its historic home and 25 years as a cultural center in 2027.

This year’s roaming gala invites guests to explore the historic home and gardens while enjoying live music, dancing, food, drinks and playful experiences. Hula dancers will welcome guests with fresh coconuts filled with coconut water, while San Clemente’s own Kalama Brothers take center stage in the Courtyard. DJ NOMIS will keep the celebration going on the Ocean Terrace with dancing and sweeping Pacific Ocean views.

Guests will enjoy bites and beverages from local and regional partners, along with the Flamingo Toss Wine Game, live auction and online silent auction. Auction highlights include fine art, a Bali vacation and a Holland America cruise.

David and Marcy Peter have been named Honorary Chairs in recognition of their longstanding leadership, philanthropy and dedication to Casa Romantica. Their support has helped the nonprofit through historic restoration projects and its recent landslide recovery.

Proceeds from Toast to the Casa support Casa Romantica’s mission to preserve its historic home and gardens while providing arts, cultural and educational programming to the community.

Single unreserved tickets are $225. Sponsorship opportunities start at $1,000 and include reserved Courtyard seating near the main stage and live auction.
