San Clemente Veterinary Hospital has been providing quality pet health care to south county since 1957. The convenient location, situated right off I-5 on El Camino Real, was completely remodeled in 2011 and has won industry awards for its efficient and environmentally-friendly design. In addition to the beautiful facility, San Clemente Veterinary Hospital was voted 2 in the San Clemente Times for Ole Awards the last two years in a row.

Dr. John Agostini purchased San Clemente Veterinary Hospital in 1991 after completing advanced medical and surgical training as well as working as Chief of Staff at an emergency practice for several years. Dr. Agostini is joined by associates Dr. Jacklyn Heller, Dr. Chris Ramsey and Dr. Ryan Lefmann. The hospital actively participates in local events to support the San Clemente community and its dynamic pet population. Dr. Agostini also serves on the Board of Directors for Pet Project Foundation, an organization that provides funding and volunteer hours to the San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter.

San Clemente Veterinary Hospital offers many services such as full in-house laboratory equipment, Digital X-ray (General and Dental), ultrasound, CT, endoscopy, chemotherapy, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, acupuncture, cold laser therapy, holistic medicine, pet boarding, and emergency/critical care during business hours. In addition, the doctors work with specialists in Cardiology and Surgery to ensure the highest level of advanced care for the patients.

San Clemente Veterinary Hospital is proud to be the only independently-owned practice accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association in South Orange County. Veterinary hospitals are evaluated on approximately 900 standards of veterinary excellence in order to become accredited.
