The company’s SpartaFlex floors are installed by factory-trained employee-owners only after an existing surface has been thoroughly prepared. First, the concrete is prepped using a dustless diamond grinder to allow the coatings to achieve the best possible adhesion. Any existing oil or grease is removed and exposed cracks are repaired using a proprietary process. Next, a primer is applied to create a strong bond with the underlying concrete. For projects involving pre-2005 concrete, a more robust primer, designed to suppress potentially elevated moisture levels often found in older floors, is used. Then, from a dazzling array of over 30 available colors and sizes, your choice of color flake is applied to bring your room to life. Finally, a generous coating of SpartaFlex seals the floor. Within a mere 4 to 6 hours, you’ll be walking on your new floor!

The amazing SpartaFlex coating system is approximately the thickness of a nickel and is 3 to 4 times harder than epoxy. In addition, these floors offer far more slip resistance than the epoxy coatings of the past.
