Women’s Health Pavilion

Situated in Laguna Hills, the cutting-edge center stands as Southern California’s largest breast care facility, providing a range of specialized health services and programs tailored to women’s needs.

The Sarah & Taylor Nederlander Breast Center, located within the newly established MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center Women’s Health Pavilion, offers a unified approach to care, encompassing breast cancer screening services, dedicated specialists, and treatments, all housed in one facility. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the new Breast Center enables precise detection and diagnosis of breast cancer, including 3D tomosynthesis digital mammography, dedicated breast MRI, cryoablation for early stage and benign tumors, DEXA bone-density testing, ultrasound-guided breast biopsies, and breast ultrasound. A team of highly knowledgeable Breast Care Navigators guides and supports women throughout their breast care journey at the Sarah & Taylor Nederlander Breast Center.

They assist patients and families in comprehending diagnoses, discussing treatment options, addressing insurance inquiries, coordinating care with medical professionals, and offering educational resources.

The Women’s Health Pavilion and the opening of the new Breast Center meets the growing needs of the community, and it was designed based on those needs, to provide convenient access to exceptional breast care and a full range of women’s health services with an elevated patient experience.

“The new Sarah & Taylor Nederlander Breast Center gives women access to a multidisciplinary team of fellowship trained dedicated breast radiologists, oncologists and surgeons whose sole focus is breast care,” says Gary Levine, M.D., medical director, MemorialCare Breast Centers. “Each patient is connected with a breast center navigator to help them understand their diagnosis, weigh treatment options, provide education and resources, and coordinate their care with physicians and specialists.”

The Women’s Health Pavilion offers a comprehensive suite of services under one ultramodern roof, including expert breast care, gynecologic services, patient navigation, and oncology care. The newly built three story, 40,000-square-foot medical facility is revolutionizing women’s healthcare, addressing women’s needs throughout every stage of life.

The Women’s Health Pavilion will also house OB GYNs and surgical oncologists specializing in gynecological cancers, along with specialized programs catering to women’s health, including pelvic health, osteoporosis, and survivorship. It will also feature a Community Education Center and support services for mental wellness.

Empowering women with tailored tools for their unique needs, the Women’s Health Pavilion at Saddleback Medical Center is dedicated to helping women lead healthy, fulfilling lives. The Breast Center is currently open and accepting appointments, as well as new patients.
