Born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, Brian Barney is a real estate agent with 22 years of construction and general contractor experience. He’s built custom homes in the rugged Alaskan landscape, crafted coastal estates in places like Laguna Beach, and even served as construction lead on a popular HGTV show. With over 300 new homes and over 3.5 million square feet of commercial and residential space under his belt, Brian is truly unique — a home expert, who’s also a realtor.

An outdoorsman since birth, Brian has a deep respect for nature. His childhood home was warmed by a wood-burning stove and he lived a genuinely sustainable lifestyle before anyone had coined the phrase. His Alaskan heritage inspired him to become LEED AP Building Design + Construction (LEED AP BD+C) certified, so he can help you build and maintain a healthy home, choose the most energy efficient appliances, and ensure that it’s well-insulated.
