DR. KAREN POTTER

Dr. Karen Potter is a board-certified endodontist who is a specialist in saving teeth by providing root canal and endodontic treatments. She is a second-generation dentist following in the footsteps of her father, Dr. Philip Potter, who practiced in San Clemente for over 30 years. She has a reputation for clinical excellence and a passion for saving natural teeth.

Dr. Potter is a San Clemente native who graduated Magna Cum Laude from USC. She went on to the UCLA School of Dentistry and graduated number 1 in her class. She received her specialist training at the University of Iowa and has owned and operated San Clemente Endodontics for close to 15 years. She is known for utilizing innovative techniques such as GentleWave® technology, a minimally invasive procedure designed to thoroughly and painlessly clean the root canal system. Dr. Potter travels throughout the country training other endodontists in this cutting-edge technology. Her practice also specializes in advanced diagnostics, non-surgical and surgical root canal therapy, and retreatments. These procedures are all geared toward saving teeth that would otherwise require extraction.
