Dr. Anne Luhan, MD, FACS, is a highly respected, board-certified surgeon who excels in treating the entire spectrum of venous diseases at the Elite Vein Institute. From cosmetic concerns like spider veins to serious conditions such as venous skin ulcerations and open wounds, Dr. Luhan’s expertise is extensive and comprehensive.

Her medical journey began at the University of Ulm in Germany, and she later honed her skills as a trauma surgeon along the Arizona- Mexico border. These experiences provided her with a unique approach to patient care, particularly in managing complex wound care for patients with venous ulcers.

Upon returning to Orange County, Dr. Luhan’s passion led her to specialize in venous and lymphatic medicine. She remains deeply committed to her field, continuously enhancing her knowledge by participating in national venous physician networks and staying abreast of the latest technological advancements and research.

Dr. Luhan is also a strong advocate for raising awareness about venous disease within the Orange County community.

“Venous disease is a chronic condition that requires attention,” Dr. Luhan emphasizes. “I want to give people hope by showing them that effective, minimally invasive treatments are available that can significantly improve leg health. And not just health as a quality of life — my goal is to help patients regain the confidence to wear shorts and proudly show their legs again. Confidence is a vital part of quality of life.”
