Eric Bollmann

ZeroRezEric Bollmann is an experienced business owner in the carpet and floor cleaning industry in South Orange County. He and his wife are longtime residents of San Juan Capistrano, where they raised their family and still reside today. Former owner of Haines and Cross in Laguna Niguel, Eric partnered with ZeroRez to offer his clients an innovative new way to keep their carpets clean without harsh chemical contamination or an oversaturation of water that encourages the growth of mildew and mold. The company stands by its claim that there is no better carpet cleaning service available. If you’re looking for the safest, most effective, and longest lasting carpet cleaning, you’ve come to the right place.

The company stands by its trademark, The ZeroRez Difference™, in providing its customers with the best green and family-friendly carpet and floor cleaning process. As the company promotes through online videos, their cleaning solutions, void of any soap or harsh chemicals, is safe enough to drink. One of the most important innovations to be incorporated into the unique carpet cleaning process is the use of powered water. ZeroRez uses special alkaline, electrolyzed, oxidized water. While this water has been transformed to provide a better cleaning experience, it is, in fact, still water. There are no chemical additives, which is why ZeroRez can claim that its cleaner is “so green, it’s safe enough to drink!”

Many carpet cleaning services rely on soaps and detergents that leave sticky residue behind or create crunchy carpets. Quick resoiling is often the result and the ZeroRez cleaning system solves these problems. Best of all, ZeroRez’s cleaning solution has been scientifically proven to remove more dirt from carpets than traditional chemical or steam cleaning methods. With no residue left behind to attract more dirt, your carpet will stay cleaner longer.

The ZeroRez cleaning system works on more than just carpet. It is also particularly well-suited to clean and sanitize upholstery, area rugs, tile and grout as well as natural stone floors.

If you’re looking for carpet cleaning from a local expert, contact Eric and his team at ZeroRez for a free, no-obligation quote. As Eric says, “You’ll love the difference that ZeroRez makes—we guarantee it!”

Triton Air

Triton Air

Mike & Kim Nicolai

Triton AirKeeping your family safe and your house warm doesn’t have to be complicated. Just call Triton Air, ranked #1 in South County companies on Google, to inspect your heating and air conditioning units, make repairs or help you choose the most energy-efficient appliances for the size of your home. They’re committed to creating the best indoor climate, not just for you but all Orange County residents.

Family-owned and based in San Clemente, Triton Air has long been known for their generous work with families in need. In 2021, Triton technicians continued to deliver groceries for high-risk customers, and for one family that requires purified air at a consistent temperature year-round for their immune-compromised daughter, they installed state-of-the-art systems and ventilation as part of Lennox’s “Feel the Love” campaign.

Triton Air has provided free services to nonprofits and families in need for years, but the Nicolai’s were still surprised to be recognized for their efforts when the company was named San Clemente Business of the Year. This is an honor that Mike attributes to his team’s consistent community involvement and dedication to clients during the lockdowns of 2020. Mike calls the recognition a “lifetime achievement award; it really is an honor and we are blessed and so proud.”

As we head into cooler weather, he stressed the importance of scheduling a safety inspection of your furnace to prevent potential carbon monoxide issues. Triton Air technicians attend weekly training sessions that focus on the details of furnace safety and thorough inspections, thus ensuring that your system is running efficiently and safely.

For those who want to avoid carbon emissions of any kind, Mike explains that Triton Air offers new zero-emission heat pumps that both heat and cool your home without using gas. These pumps are powered by electricity and, for homes with solar panels installed, can heat and cool with power generated from the sun. These systems also offer a financial benefit by avoiding future local or state taxes on gas or fossil fuel-dependent appliances.

Ready to schedule an inspection? Call Triton Air today to create a healthier, safer, and cleaner environment for your family. Partner with a company that puts people first, both locally and internationally. Call 949.482.2492 or visit TritonAir.com.

Priscilla Parris

The Kitchen LadyNow located in San Clemente’s Historic City Hall

Owner of The Kitchen Lady, Priscilla Parris, has been a well-known designer in Los Angeles and Orange County for over 36 years. With a BS Degree in Interior Design from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, she first worked for the L.A. company that invented 3D software for the kitchen and bath industry. Through that experience, she became an expert in the design process. In 1994, after working for three contractors, Priscilla opened her first showroom in Huntington Beach. In 2011, she became a design partner at PIRCH, Orange County’s premiere, luxury appliance and plumbing showroom.

Featured in many local publications and in HOUZZ, she now has decided to put her small sample showroom in beautiful downtown San Clemente, inside Historic City Hall. “Large and cumbersome showrooms are a thing of the past,” says Priscilla, who has owned many. “In order to stay current, it is better to keep overhead low and be at the jobsite where expert supervision is required during installation,” she shares.

Over the last 25 years, Priscilla has assembled a team of expert installers to assist her in the production of her kitchen products, and those same people have been with her ever since — a testament to her work ethic, integrity and ability to collaborate. Whether you’re updating your existing space with a few key elements or embarking on a complete renovation, it’s important to enlist the assistance of a hands-on professional who will guide you through every small step in the process.

Priscilla’s showroom offers cabinet, countertop, tile, hardware, and mosaic samples, along with the capability to 3D design your concept. This technology allows a client to visualize a kitchen or bath design.

Priscilla has designed over 3,000 kitchens during the last 36 years, so her expertise in space planning and kitchen and bath design is extensive and highly-regarded. Designing complex spaces requires vast knowledge and experience, and The Kitchen Lady makes it enjoyable and seamless for her clients.

Having a keen eye, attention to detail, and a good set of math skills, are the necessary ingredients to a successful kitchen or bath design project. If you’re seeking an experienced and reliable professional to make your dream a reality, please contact Priscilla for a consultation.

Surrounding Elements

Surrounding Elements

Moss Shacter and Patty Geach

Surrounding ElementsSurrounding Elements has been operating in South Orange County since 2001. It was one of the first in the industry to design and build custom mosaic legwarmer tables with interchangeable centers, featuring an ice bucket, lazy susan, centerpiece and a firepit insert that can be positioned at two levels. Best known for unique mosaic work, Surrounding Elements’ owners and artists, Moss Shacter and Patty Geach, are quick to point out that they also build barbeque islands, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, fountains and much more. Working closely with each client, the team at SE creates functional art, crafted to each customer’s needs. The company also offers a line of standard table sizes and mosaic designs. Each element, built by Surrounding Elements, is made with only quality materials.

The internal structures for all projects are made with either powder coated frames, designed by Surrounding Elements, or stainless-steel studs. The frames are encased in HardieBacker board as the final canvas for their projects. The company uses this application, instead of concrete, as it can expand and contract in the heat and cold, which can cause cracks or lifting. Surfaces are finished with only top-quality natural stones, glass, tiles and grout. All of these surfaces are sealed upon completion. Outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and fountains are accented with Ameristone acrylic stucco. Each step in the process ensures durability and longevity.

Moss and Patty have lived in South Orange County most of their lives. Since art is their passion, they feel fortunate to have been able to build a successful business using their talents. They also consider all of the people that work with them part of their family. Each person plays an intricate role and takes pride in what they do.

For more information, please visit them online at SurroundingElements.com, Yelp and Facebook. Stop by their showroom in San Juan Capistrano to see their array of custom mosaic patio tables, firepits and fountains.

South County Restoration

South County Restoration

Casey McCants

South County Restoration
Business owner Casey McCants knows how devastating pinhole and slabs leaks can be. The water damage that occurred to his own home along with the exorbitant fees that big box restoration companies charge is what inspired him to add a dedicated team for repiping homes.

Now, South County Restoration is the ultimate one-stop shop, offering repipe service, water damage restoration, and Casey himself, an expert that helps you file insurance claims and get the compensation you deserve.

If you’ve been in your home longer than 10 years, or if your neighbor just had to repipe, it may be time for you to do the same. Casey’s team reports to your home at 8 a.m., covers everything in plastic, repipes your home, and provides you with running water that very night.

South County Restoration uses cross-linked polyethylene, better known as PEX, to bypass or replace existing pipes. PEX tubing is flexible and can be directly routed to where it needs to go. This reduces the need to make joints and turns and improves water pressure. A PEX repipe prevents future leaks and is designed to last a lifetime.

Another team comes in to repair the drywall, typically two days later. They also do the mitigation, property cleanup and abatement, mold and asbestos testing, and any moving and storage required. Only South County Restoration can repipe your home and repair the walls in as little as three days.

Always call Casey before you call your insurance company. He advocates for all of his clients when filing claims and billing their insurance company. Since 2008, he’s been working with adjusters to negotiate and reach settlements that are fair.

With a 24/7 Rapid Response Team standing by, and a 49-minute arrival time, call on South County Restoration when trouble arises. For this month, Casey is offering $500 OFF any repipe job. Check out SouthCountyRestoration.com for more details.

Tom and Donna are absolute PROS and obviously take pride in their work… Their price was very competitive. Also, what they quote is what you pay—keep in mind when talking to the ‘other guys’ whose price seems to go up and up. All appointments including installation were flawless. Perkins Custom Coatings

Perkins Custom Coatings

Paul Frankel

Perkins Custom CoatingsTired of your old, yellowed or peeling epoxy floor? Perhaps you’re looking for an exciting new option for bare concrete? Well, look no further. SpartaFlex is an advanced, high solids, polyaspartic floor application that provides a next-generation coating solution that outperforms epoxy. Featuring the same attractive appearance as epoxy, Spartaflex offers a more durable, UV stable and environmentally-friendly product that comes with an extensive warranty to provide you with peace of mind.

Perkins Custom Coatings is an employee-owned business since 2019. The company’s SpartaFlex floors are installed by factory-trained employee-owners only after an existing surface has been thoroughly prepared. First, the concrete is prepped using a dustless diamond grinder to allow the coatings to achieve the best possible adhesion. Any existing oil or grease is removed and exposed cracks are repaired using a proprietary process. Next, a primer is applied to create a strong bond with the underlying concrete. For projects involving pre-2005 concrete, a more robust primer, designed to suppress potentially elevated moisture levels often found in older floors, is used. Then, from a dazzling array of over 30 available colors and sizes, your choice of color flake is applied to bring your room to life. Finally, a generous coating of SpartaFlex seals the floor. Within a mere 4 to 6 hours, you’ll be walking on your new floor!

The amazing SpartaFlex coating system is approximately the thickness of a nickel and is 3 to 4 times harder than epoxy. In addition, these floors offer far more slip resistance than the epoxy coatings of the past. Best of all, your new SpartaFlex floor warranty includes a coverage against hot tire damage—you won’t find that with any epoxy warranties.

If you are in the market for a new commercial or residential floor, you no longer need to settle for epoxy. For more information on SpartaFlex, contact Perkins Custom Coatings, a Southern California dealer for over 14 years. Call 866.330.1DAY (1329) or visit perkinscustomcoatings.com to learn more.
